These include:  Anterior Supine Intermuscular Hip Replacement whereby a hip replacement is done without cutting any muscles and allows for NO postoperative hip precautions and a quicker recovery, Birmingham Hip Resurfacing for the young and very active male hip replacement patient, total knee replacements using Zimmer Biomet components to ensure optimal fit and function, and partial knee replacements utilizing both the Oxford and Persona components. He also uses  knee replacements that are made of OXINIUM, a hypo-allergenic, extremely low wearing bearing surface technology designed to maximize motion and longevity.

Dr King performs knee arthroscopy and also has a special interest in Hip arthroscopy surgery for early arthritis and other hip conditions such as hip impingement in order to prevent hip replacement and increase patient function, and decrease hip pain. He is also a former professional hockey player with the Detroit Red Wings, bringing an experienced perspective to his sports medicine practice.

Dr. King is a member of the prestigious AAHKS (American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons), the AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons), and the AOAO (American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics).
