John Grandrimo, D.O.

John Grandrimo, D.O.

Dr. Grandrimo has been a busy member of our orthopedic group since July 2002. He specializes in general orthopedics surgery with a special interest in Joint Reconstruction and Spine surgery- including minimally invasive surgery and custom made joint technology using Zimmer Biomet components to ensure optimal fit and function, and partial knee replacements utilizing both the Oxford and Persona components.

He performs general fracture care, arthroscopic procedures of the knee and shoulder, surgery of the hand, foot, and ankle.

Dr. Grandrimo works closely with Dr. Bill Beutler M.D., Neurosurgeon, in performing both cervical and lumbar spinal surgery. Dr. Grandrimo uses state of the art technology including the O-arm Stealth technology for spinal fusion. This technology allows real time, intra-operative imagery with more precise accuracy of advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures before the patient leaves the operating room.

Together, they have performed more spinal surgeries with this O-arm technology than anyone else in the Central Pennsylvania area.

Dr. Grandrimo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Temple University. He went on to graduate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. He completed his internship and orthopedic residency at Pinnacle Health Hospitals in 2002. Dr. Grandrimo served as Chief Resident in 2001-2002.

Dr. Grandrimo lives in Lancaster with his wife Cindy, and their 2 children John and Isabella. He enjoys spending time with his family, weightlifting, playing soccer, and coaching lacrosse. He has coached both boys and girls lacrosse for the past 6 years. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, and the American Board of Physician Specialist.
