Dr. Kutz is a native of Wilkes-Barre, PA. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree with honors from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME in 2001. He completed his undergraduate studies, Cum Laude, in Molecular Biology at the University of New Hampshire in 1993. His internship and orthopedic surgery residency was completed at the Pinnacle Health Hospitals in Harrisburg, PA in 2006.
Dr. Kutz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing general orthopedic surgery. His interests include joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder – including minimally invasive surgery, custom-fit technology for the knee, and alternative bearing surfaces in total hip replacement. Additionally, Dr. Kutz has special interest in sports medicine including arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Kutz also performs general fracture care, cervical and lumbar spinal surgery, surgery of the hand, foot and ankle, as well as general pediatric orthopedics.
Dr. Kutz performs surgery at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital as well as the Susquehanna Valley Surgery Center. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
An active member of the community in youth sports and with special needs children, Dr. Kutz lives in Hummelstown with his wife Meg, and their three children.
